About this tour
Round-trip sleeper bus from Hanoi (or finish in Sapa if preferred), English-speaking guide, all meals (Vietnamese cuisine), ethnic homestays, genuine Japanese motorcycles, fuel, entrance tickets, helmets, protective gear, and luggage storage.
Gratuities, alcohol (unless provided by homestay), personal expenses, and travel insurance.

• 7:00 am: Enjoy breakfast in Ha Giang City.
• 9:00 am: Depart for Quản Bạ District (50km). Along the way, pass through the stunning Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark and Bac Sum Pass, with breathtaking views.
• 11:00 am: Stop at Heaven’s Gate for a coffee break and panoramic photos of Tam Son town and the Twin Mountains of Quản Bạ surrounded by rice fields.
• 12:00 pm: Arrive in Tam Son town for lunch.
• 1:30 pm: Begin a 4km round-trip hike to Lùng Khúy Cave, known for its unique rock formations.
• 3:30 pm: Visit Lùng Tám Weaving Village to learn about traditional H’mong linen weaving and clothing production.
• 4:30 pm: Continue the journey to the scenic viewpoint at Bát Đại Sơn.
• 5:00 pm: Arrive at the homestay in Cán Tỷ. After check-in, walk 2km to visit the famous Lonely Tree, a 250-year-old landmark.
• 6:30 pm: Enjoy dinner at the homestay, relax, and prepare for the next day’s journey.
• 7:00 am: Breakfast at the homestay.
• 8:00 am: Depart for Tham Ma Pass, known for its long uphill roads and stunning views, stopping for pictures at the 5km long pass at an altitude of 1500m.
• 9:30 am: Arrive at the H’mong King Palace (Vua Meo Mansion), an over 100-year-old palace, and learn about the history of the H’mong ethnic group.
• 10:30 am: Travel to Lung Cu Flag Tower, Vietnam’s northernmost point, where you will climb over 400 steps to witness the large Vietnamese flag and view the China border.
• 12:30 pm: Enjoy lunch in Dong Van town.
• 2:00 pm: Drive to Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most scenic passes in Vietnam.
• 3:00 pm: Descend to the Nho Que River and take a 50-minute boat tour through Tu San Canyon to admire the stunning landscape.
• 5:30 pm: Return to Dong Van town for dinner and a relaxing evening with live music.
• 7:00 am: Breakfast in Dong Van town.8:00 am: Depart for Meo Vac town via Ma Pi Leng Pass. Along the way, view traditional H’mong houses and the charming stone gates of Meo Vac.
• 10:00 am: Continue to Sa Ly Pass, known for its picturesque M-shaped curve, surrounded by mountains and local ethnic children in traditional costumes.
• 2:00 pm: Coffee break in Lung Ho town with beautiful scenery of the mountains.
• 3:30 pm: Arrive in Du Gia Valley, home to 17 different ethnic groups, streams, lakes, and waterfalls—perfect for a swim in summer.
• 6:30 pm: Enjoy a local dinner at a homestay in Du Gia, followed by a fun evening of karaoke, Vietnamese local wine, and cultural exchange.
• 7:00 am: Breakfast at the homestay.
• 8:00 am: Say farewell to the homestay and begin the journey to Duong Thuong Commune in Yen Minh District. Pass through traditional villages and endless fields that locals have cultivated for generations.
• 12:00 pm: Lunch in Can Ty Commune.
• 1:00 pm: Continue the trip via Thai An-Thuan Hoa towards Ha Giang City, with more scenic stops along the way.
• 4:00-4:30 pm: Arrive back in Ha Giang City. The tour concludes, and participants will either head back to Hanoi by sleeper bus or continue traveling to other destinations.
